Your goal is to optimise the customer journey from start to finish, ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction and business growth. You provide valuable customer insights and can inspire and influence the commercial team to continuously improve the customer experience.
You lead by example, motivating your team to achieve remarkable business growth. Strategically, tactically, and operationally minded, you are adept at identifying and seizing commercial opportunities. Your understanding of customers, competitors, and the market helps you further grow IKEA. You collaborate effectively with commercial partners and stakeholders to steer the business and achieve goals. You are committed to creating an engaging and inclusive workplace where everyone can bring their whole selves to work. You are experienced in developing and building high performing home furnishing experts. You embody IKEA’s values and lead the business through your people.
As Market Sales & Customer Experience Manager your responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Lead the customer & selling assignment and unit strategy and be accountable for its performance.
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing Selling and Customer team, with a customer focused culture, to achieve planned sales, profitability, growth targets and provide a rewarding customer experience.
- You, together with Commercial Team translate commercial action plans to operational goals and priorities, to address challenges, control budgets and people planning, providing support and guidance to co-workers.
- Secure that local market, customer, consumer and competitor insights are used to identify local market potential and continuously improve sales performance and omnichannel customer experience.
- Monitor individual and team performance to achieve goals and objectives, identifying and implementing corrective action where necessary
To be considered for this role, experience in the following is essential:
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in leadership or management within commercial functions.
- Proven effective business acumen and strong understanding of profit and loss.
- Successful skills in problem solving, conflict management and people development.
- Skilled in making commercial decisions based on market data.
- Experience of Omnichannel customer experience.
