As our store trades 7 days a week you will you are required to be available to work a mix of day and evening shifts as well as have availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends, both Saturday & Sunday. For Logistics roles, you may be required to work evenings and overnight hours. Permanent part time roles are available ranging from 24, 30 & 40 hours per fortnight.
**Your responsibilities**
We are looking for co-workers in the following areas;
- IKEA Food - Enthusiastic, passionate about food and retail, and love connecting with others, you will be responsible for cash handling, customer service, maintaining the customer restaurant and/or Swedish Food Market, or preparing and serving meals to our hungry customers.
- Sales - You love interacting with customers and are confident in approaching them in a polite and friendly manner. You maximise sales by ensuring your department is clean, tidy, fully stocked and correctly priced. You have a genuine passion for life at home and enjoy approaching customers to identify their needs by asking the right questions and advising them on the best solutions for their homes.
- Customer Service - The friendly face of IKEA, you are curious with strong problem-solving skills, you are customer-centric and have a truly empathic approach in every customer interaction. You may be greeting our customers at the store entry, helping customers with returns or home delivery, or servicing customers at our checkouts.
- Logistics - Select, pack and dispatch orders. Work in a fast paced environment, ensuring high standards of selection and presentation are met every time to delight our customers when their purchases arrive for collection in store via Click & Collect. You may also help re-stock our shelves to ensure that our customers can find their next home furnishing purchase.
All roles are fasted paced and physically demanding, requiring manual handling and you will be on your feet all day.
