- Strong core financial skills across financial analysis, accounting, finance systems, and processes

**What You’ll be Doing**
This role is a 12-month Full-time contract. The AP & AR Manager will manage the timely and efficient collection of all trading debts owed by Customers of GDTA Australia, GDT New Zealand and Total Tyres, in order to maximise the company's cash flow and working capital position, by mitigating risk of, and exposure to, costs due to late payment, write-offs and legal actions.
- Manage and develop all transactional financing operations in line with GDT Finance functional objectives
- Ensure working capital and cash generation initiatives are in line with company objectives.
- Ensure all policies, procedures, and audit requirements are met by the Finance Operations Team
- Ensuring end of and intra-month reporting meets required standards for accuracy and integrity, and meets all applicable accounting standards and company policies
- Facilitate the development and implementation of relevant strategies to maximise the collection of revenue and ensure compliance with appropriate standards and data quality
- Provide strong leadership to the Finance Operations function, including driving and managing change, motivating people, coaching and developing of Direct Reports, building aligned technical knowledge and management skills competencies
- Responsible for providing an efficient and cost-effective AR service to GDTA, Total Tyres and GDTNZ in order to ensure the commercial requirements of internal and external customers are met, and that the assets of the business are effectively controlled.
**More about You**
- 10 years experience in managing a large (volume-value) portfolio of major commercial clients.
- 8 years experience in direct people and operational management including Talent Retention management.
- This includes managing a mid to large-size teams.
- Key participant in Credit Life Cycle Planning and Operationalizing strategic initiatives
- Change management and Business Process Improvement
- Experience and background in ERP systems particularly SAP and automated Collection Systems
- Collections forecasting and KPI reporting - Operational performance and balance score card reporting.
- Comparative Analysis and Results reporting
- Representation at Industry Credit Forums and participation at Creditors Meetings or Recovery Proceedings
- Experience in SOX and Internal Controls Framework
- Strategic and Operational Collections Leadership
- Aligned Industry/ FMCG (Integrated)/ Banking B2B/ High volume and value transaction relationship environments.
