Strong copy editing skills, a flair for writing headlines and solid digital production skills are essential.

Day to day you will:

- Collaborate with the Culture News Editor to shape the daily culture news agenda.
- Commission reporters and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality stories.
- Edit and produce content in line with newsroom best practices.
- Work closely with other editors and teams across newsrooms to enhance the quality of culture news coverage.

**Qualifications**
What we’re looking for:

- A passion for arts and culture.
- Proven experience in editorial content production, particularly in digital editing.
- Strong sub-editing skills and a deep understanding of SEO best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet rolling deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and inspire teamwork.
- A hunger for news and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
