**The Team**

The Dispute Resolution team is one of Australia's largest practice groups advising across a diverse range of complex disputes and litigation. They have extensive experience in key industries such as consumer goods and retail, energy and infrastructure, financial institutions, healthcare and life sciences, manufacturing and transportation and TMT. Their integrated approach means they work closely with many major domestic and international clients on arbitration, litigation and investigation matters.

**The Role**

There is currently an exciting opportunity for a talented Lawyer/ Associate to join the firm's Disputes team in Melbourne.

This role will see you working alongside some of the nation's leading litigation lawyers on large-scale and often multi-jurisdictional dispute resolution cases.

You will be exposed to a variety of different matters including commercial and corporate disputes, class actions, competition and consumer law claims, insolvency related litigation, regulatory investigations, and property disputes.

The work is often high-profile and always interesting, requiring skills in strategic negotiation, risk management and alternative dispute resolution.

**Requirements**:
To be successful, you will have
**at least 2 years' post-admission experience** in commercial litigation, preferably gained at a top tier or leading international firm.

In addition, you will have:

- A strong academic background;
- Excellent technical, drafting and communication skills;
- Strong client service and ability to develop long-lasting relationships;
- Superb attention to detail and analytical skills; and
- An ability to work well collaboratively in a team and demonstrate initiative and proactiveness.
