Working as part of the Project Development and Facilitation Team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to senior leadership on development approval pathways, statutory processes and project delivery matters for public and private sector projects.

**You will**:

- Manage the effective and efficient coordination of statutory processes under the:

- State Development and Public Works Organisation Act 1971
- Strong and Sustainable Resource Communities Act 2017.
- Provide high level technical and project advice to public and private sector proponents on the statutory processes under the SDPWO Act and the SSRC Act, major project assessment and facilitation of statutory approvals of projects.
- Assist in leading complex negotiations with local, state and Commonwealth government agencies, community groups and the private sector on a range of major project and infrastructure issues.
- Assist project proponents in the early stages of project planning to determine the best approval pathways for their project.
- Establish and maintain effective and positive relationships across other areas of the Office, the department, across government, and with stakeholder organisations.
- Manage preparation of timely and well-researched briefings, reports, submissions and correspondence, on sensitive and complex issues, including whole-of-government policy initiatives, terms of reference for environmental impact statements (EISs) and evaluation reports for EISs.
- Manage complex project delivery matters following project approvals.
Assist senior management in the delivery and implementation of change management and business improvement initiatives.
