**The Principal Project Officer key responsibilities are**: - Provide high level professional secretarial support to the Deputy Director-General including diary management, mailbox management and secretariate duties. Supervise, train, mentor and professional development of administration staff members. - Compose and prepare timely departmental and ministerial correspondence including, confidential and accurate reports, briefings, ministerial and other executivelevel correspondence. Coordinate and critically analyse estimate briefs, possible parliamentary questions, and information papers regarding initiatives delivered by the work area to ensure the provision of high quality, accurate and timely responses. Coordinate executive travel arrangements for the Deputy Director-General. Establish and maintain effective linkages with key stakeholders including Ministerial Offices, Office of the Director-General, and other directorates enablingpositive and productive working relationships. Coordinate the directorates input into complex governance projects such as Delivery Management Framework and monthly performance dashboard. Provide high level advice, support and training to directorate officers responsible for the preparation of ministerial and executive correspondence and related documents.Your ability to stay informed of current matters, analyse information, influence, problem solve, and co-ordinate workflow is essential to your success in this role.
