We’ve never been ‘just a bank’. Just like you should never be ‘just an employee’. We’re united in our belief that in banking, better can be bigger, and together we’re making it happen.
**It starts here. With Bendigo Bankand you.**:
Come and be part of an awesome team of highly experienced professionals with a strong focus on fostering a culture of accountability and transparency across the organisation. You’ll love the good you can do here. Your investigations experience will help to protect the integrity of the organisation.
As an **Internal Fraud Investigator** in our Group Financial Crime Risk Department you’ll make an impact by:
- Identifying, assessing, and investigating potential internal fraud, misconduct, and breaches of company policy within the organisation.
- Conducting in-depth investigations into suspected fraudulent activities, policy violations, or unethical behaviour by employees, ensuring compliance with internal governance frameworks, regulatory obligations, and industry best practices.
- Analysing financial transactions, communications, and behavioural patterns to identify potential risks, leveraging data analytics and forensic methodologies to build comprehensive cases.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure appropriate actions are taken following investigative findings.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of internal controls, reporting mechanisms, and risk mitigation strategies to protect the integrity of the organisation.
This is a permanent full-time position. We offer flexible work options that put our people first, with compressed working weeks to provide a 9 day fortnight a popular option in the Financial Crime Risk department. We also operate a hybrid model of working, with minimum 40% in the office per week, increasing to 60% in July 2025.
All locations considered: you must have access to an airport as some interstate travel will be required (on average once a month).

**What you’ll bring to the role**:
This role would suit someone with financial crime investigations, fraud risk management, internal investigations, forensic accounting, or compliance experience within a corporate, financial services, or regulatory environment.
To succeed in this role, we’d love you to have:

- **Want big impact that matters?**Here, you’ll know your work directly benefits the customers and communities we all serve.
- **Want to be more than just a number?**Join a team that truly values you and the diverse contribution you make, every day.
- **Want career opportunity AND flexibility?**Achieve both here, where we know that balance and progression go hand in hand.
You’ll also get access to a great range of benefits, including:
