The Adviser is responsible for supporting the delivery of recruitment services and executive employment functions within the department, ensuring the timely and effective hiring of talent that meets departmental needs and the provision of high-quality advice relating to executive contracts.

Additionally, the role includes contributing to the continuous improvement of recruitment processes by identifying areas for enhancement and collaborating with the team to implement more efficient and effective practices.

The Adviser actively participates in training and development opportunities to enhance recruitment skills and stay informed on industry best practices, ensuring their ongoing contribution to the success of the team.

**About you**:
We are looking for someone who can:

- Assist in managing the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring timely and effective hiring that aligns with departmental and organizational staffing needs.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand specific talent needs, provide recruitment updates, and ensure alignment with departmental priorities and planning cycles.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on recruitment progress and addressing queries as needed.
- Support the efficient and effective delivery of recruitment and talent management services across all Executive roles and secretariat support for the Executive Remuneration Committee (ERC).
- Qualifications / Specialist Expertise_
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Management, or an equivalent alternative combination of relevant knowledge, training and / or experience is desirable.
- Experience in a HR/talent function.
- An understanding of relevant legislation and associated regulations, guidelines and agreements.
