A fantastic permanent opportunity for an experienced Talent Acquisition professional to join the team and lead the VBA's recruitment and talent acquisition activities.
The Talent Acquisition Partner will focus on all core recruitment activity, leveraging strong analytical thinking, systemic problem solving, forward workforce planning and stakeholder management skills to elevate the People & Capability brand.
The role will collaborate with hiring managers across the business to develop, test and implement contemporary attraction and recruitment strategies, targeted advertisement campaigns and cost effective resourcing solutions. Supporting the business to shape and refine position descriptions, explore various ways to secure hard to fill, specialised technical roles, maintain and maximise recruitment platforms, refine processes and workflows are crucial aspects of the role.
Who we are looking for
- Experience working in a talent acquisition role, at a senior level in a corporate, government or similar environment, with sound understanding of contemporary recruitment practises and strategic sourcing strategies.
- Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to proactively provide strategic and customer centric solutions.
- Knowledge and understanding of the VPSC recruitment guidelines with the ability to develop and deliver training materials to educate stakeholders on best practice recruitment practices within the public sector.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret polices and legislation and provide advice to the business on a range of HR and employment related matters aligned to recruitment activities.
- Demonstrated understanding and use of Applicant Tracking software ideally Springboard / People Scout would be highly desirable.

- As a public sector and service standard, generally all new employees will start at the base entry level and increment throughout the salary range each year based on performance. Current public sector employees at the same grade will be considered for a transfer of entitlements with evidence. A request above entry level may be considered in certain circumstances.
