APS6 Program Officer Position. 6 month contract in Federal Government. Support Government Agenda
**Your new company**
T his Government Department is working at the forefront of delivering a high level of policies and programs to the public contributing to their health and well-being. Currently they have a need for high performing APS6 program officer to assist in supporting a high priority project that aims to support the future of the health work force in Australia.

**Your new role**
You will be brought on board to work with the Business Lead to progress activities of the project, including the preparation of documents for release processes and user guidance materials. This role will also see you writing briefings, talking points, ministerial correspondence, and other policy documents as required. Due to the collaborative nature of the project, you will be required to foster effective working relationships with different areas across the department to streamline existing processes and develop new processes where required. As the delivery of training to new users both in person and online is also required, experience in training would be advantageous.

**What you'll need to succeed**
To succeed in this role, you will be a high-performing individual with:

- Previous experience working in government in a program or policy role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time and work in fast-paced environments.
- Demonstrated ability to produce quality documents.
- Experience working as part of an IT development project is desirable.
- Experience in delivering training is also desirable.
