**About you**
We are seeking highly skilled Assessment and Risk Officers to join our team.
- Proven experience in information gathering and analysis, preferable in a regulatory environment.
- Ability to assess, prioritise, and mitigate risks and the ability to present clear and actionable recommendations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on building positive relationships with stakeholders, and a professional and respectful approach to communication.
- Ability to prioritise own workload, and leverage technology to improve performance and effectiveness.
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

**Essential requirements of the role**
- A valid Working with Children Check clearance.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
