We are seeking a strong Credit Risk Manager to join the leadership team in the growing AU-based credit team.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
PERSOLKELLY has partnered with a global organization that operates nationally. We are looking for the National Risk Manager to be responsible for leading a highly engaged team and the management of risk assessment of customers and the analysis of the overall credit exposure for the recommendation of terms of credit. This role requires you to partner closely with business stakeholders, be creative, and solutions focused, whilst delivering an outcome that meets the business and DSO targets and minimised the level of overdue debt whilst minimising the risk of bad debt.

This role will also be responsible for the following:

- Effective management of credit risk across the portfolio, including negotiating and approving refinancing of Overdue Debts
- Maintain strong relationships with national customers both internal and external
- Perform continual reconciliation of key appointed accounts, including dispute management, cash collection, and management reporting
- Managing interaction with both internal and external legal and collections agencies as well as management of bad debt provision
- Liaising with business units to appropriately balance and optimize portfolio risk
- Advancing risk assessment of customers, negotiating and managing security arrangements, and establishing appropriate credit limits.

**ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE**:

You will be experienced in Credit Management with strong leadership skills who can build productive relationships and work with the business on resolving issues and overcoming barriers. You will also understand the importance of continuous improvement, supporting work cultures for the future as we continue to deliver a high level of customer service. Energised and positive in nature, you will be a strong advocate to making things happen.
- A degree in accounting or related Finance/ Business is preferred but not essential
- Strong financial analysis skills and understanding of risk
- Experience in using large ERP systems
- Leadership experience with the ability to motivate team efforts and influence outside organizational boundaries
- Aptitude for managing processes and driving towards best-in-class process performance.
