Credit Risk Analyst required to join a financial services business to provide unsecured lending services to customers.

As a Credit Risk Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in assessing and managing credit risk associated with our unsecured lending portfolios. Leveraging your expertise in credit risk modelling, you will be responsible for validating and testing credit risk models to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.

**Key responsibilities include**:
Conducting detailed analysis of unsecured lending portfolios to assess credit risk and identify potential areas of concern.
- Developing and implementing credit risk models and methodologies specific to unsecured lending products.
- Validating and testing credit risk models to ensure robustness, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including risk management, finance, and technology, to enhance credit risk modelling capabilities.
- Providing insights and recommendations to senior management based on analysis of credit risk trends and performance.
- Maintaining proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools to support model development and analysis.

**Qualifications**:

- 2 - 5 years of experience as a Credit Analyst or Credit Risk Analyst in a financial institution or related industry.
- Proven experience in credit risk analysis with a focus on unsecured lending products.
- Strong understanding of credit risk modelling principles and methodologies.
- Hands-on experience in validating and testing credit risk models, including statistical techniques and model performance evaluation.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
