**About the Branch**:
The role of the Transformation Branch is to provide insights, solutions and advice to decision makers, policy makers and the market to improve scheme operations and position the agency as a modern, efficient and effective regulator. The Integrated Transformation Branch serves several purposes.
- To deliver continuous improvement of the Agency’s project and program's management capabilities, ensuring investment alignment and prioritisation across the agency to effectively address business objectives, support delivery and business transformation.
- To work with the leadership team, business areas and IT delivery teams to improve governance, collaboration, transparency, driving business transition and benefits realisation and efficiency across CER's Integrated Transformation and Sustainment Investments.
- To streamline data governance and create a data-driven culture that identifies external trends to inform strategic decisions and support business transformation. In addition, allow for focus on our data in the change management context, both in building system architecture and uplifting staff capability.
- To model and embed best practice across portfolio, program, project and change management in delivering our strategic objectives and outcomes for the agency.
The following Sections are part of the Branch:
- ** Value and Assurance**
The Value and Assurance Section oversees investment estimation and delivery assurance. The section ensures that assurance activities inform better decisions, enable continuous improvement and drive benefits realisation.
- ** Program Management**
The Program Management Office oversees, coordinates, monitors and drives the delivery of CER’s Integrated Transformation and Sustainment program including ensuring necessary governance through the Change Program Leadership and the Committee.
- ** Product Management**
The Product Management Section is responsible for defining desirable, viable, feasible and sustainable solutions that meet business needs. It supports the development across the product lifecycle: introduction, growth, maturity and decline.
- ** Business Transition and Change**
The Business Transition and Change Section partners with stakeholders and end-users across the business to drive engagement, adoption of change, business readiness, change management capability uplift and support benefits realisation.
- ** Data Innovation and Tools**
The Data Innovation & Tools section supports the agency to unlock the potential of our data to drive innovation and compliance for the agency.
**About the Section**:
The Product Management section is responsible for the end-to-end management and successful delivery of digital products for the Clean Energy Regulator. In addition to leading a team of Product Managers and Product Owners, the team is responsible for ensuring that the CER has a well-defined list of quality products for delivery and that the product management capability is uplifted across product management practice.
Using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and industry best practice in lean portfolio management and agile product delivery, the team defines product scope and supports product delivery phases through to closure and transition to business as usual. The team is pivotal in building ongoing portfolio, program and project management capability for the agency and embedding industry best practice.
**Role Responsibilities and Duties**:
- Develop and articulate the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with agency objectives and government priorities.
- Manage the portfolio value stream and epic backlog by ensuring lean business cases and epics are prioritised and refined to deliver business value.
- Lead a team of product managers and product owners, providing direction, developing business plans, managing priorities and performance while guiding continuous improvement.
- Gather and analyse information from diverse sources, including business priorities, user needs and feedback, to inform product development and strategic decision-making.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and end-users.
- Lead collaboration between product management, scheme, enabling and development teams leveraging emotional intelligence to understand and manage team dynamics.
- Demonstrates professionalism and adherence to the APS Values and Code of Conduct.
