This well-known Government Agency requires a Contract and Procurement Coordinator to join their team at a great rate of pay. This job is located in Southern Sydney.
**Your new role**
In your new position, you will work as part of Contracts and Procurement Unit. You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure operational needs and probity requirements are met. You will facilitate the management of contracts and procurement activity. You will provide strategic and operational management advice to the managers responsible for procurement. You will ensure all contracts are reviewed and approved according to relevant policies, delegations, and vendor performance is managed against contract terms. You will develop tender documentation and prepare project plans.
**What you'll need to succeed**
In order to be considered for this role, you will have experience participating in complex negotiations with a broad range of stakeholders. You will have an ability to independently resolve complex problems and sensitive issues and recommend effective solutions. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and you will have experience with procurement within government, preferably experience with the management of large and complex contracts.
