**Job Description Summary**

This role is based in Hunter Central Coast region Supporting the Procurement, Sourcing Lead in sourcing and procuring local contractors, with a focus on local and indigenous engagement this includes planning, collaboration, and delivery.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Internal Collaboration**
- Provide guidance and technical support to contractors from submission to onboarding.
- Provide support to the Procurement and Sourcing Lead
- Supporting the Administration & Governance and HSSEQ Team in contractor onboarding processes.

**Operational**
- Provide support to contractors in procurement processes.
- Assist the Procurement and Sourcing lead with end to end procurement activities
- Schedule and assist in organising debriefs.
- Source contractors in line with the gap analysis.
- Manage contractor communication via Concep regarding training, contract advices, and tenders.
- Update training materials in collaboration with the wider team.
- Evaluate submissions and prepare tender evaluation reports.
- Prepare and periodically review the contractor engagement calendar and coordinate events.
- Management of ongoing communication, education and clarification campaigns to contractors.

**Reporting**
- Provide ad hoc reporting of procurement statistics/status to the Procurement and Sourcing Lead and the client.
- Assist in the preparation of procurement data for Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Reports.
- Fortnightly reporting on contractor status for client reports.

**Stakeholder Management**
- Build relationships with contractors, internal team, and co-contract peers.
- Attend client meetings and co-contract peer meetings.
- Maintain strong communication with the Procurement and Sourcing Lead and the client.
- Communicate contractor status to all stake holders.
- Liaise with C&W internal departments.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Good communication skills to support the Procurement and Sourcing Lead.
- Understanding of local and indigenous engagement.
- Organised, proactive, and basic understanding of end to end procurement.
- Experience working with local and Aboriginal-owned businesses.
- Ability to build relationships with clients, contractors and internal teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience in reporting and preparing tender evaluation reports.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
