**Your next career opportunity**
As a Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow in Indigenous Health Equity, you'll play a crucial role in improving support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families. You'll contribute to a program of research within an Aboriginal-led interdisciplinary team, focusing on developing a maternity service data dashboard related to child protection. This position offers you the opportunity to work collaboratively in a culturally safe environment, while furthering your research skills and contributing to the Indigenous health research workforce.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Conduct Data-Driven Research: Collect, manage, and analyse data to establish a maternity service data dashboard related to child protection notifications and health service data.
- Collaborate and Engage: Work with consortium partners and stakeholders to provide high-quality technical advice and support in a culturally safe manner.
- Contribute to Knowledge Generation: Produce high-quality academic outputs, present at conferences, and engage in knowledge translation activities.
- Support Project Management: Oversee research activities, including protocol preparation, compliance with regulatory requirements, and data management.

**You may be a great fit if**:
You are a passionate researcher with a PhD in a relevant field, experienced in supporting academic research and working with families or in social and emotional wellbeing, with strong communication skills and a commitment to improving Indigenous health outcomes.

**You may also**:

- Hold a PhD in epidemiology, health, allied health, quantitative social science, or related disciplines.
- Have experience in quantitative data collection, management, and analysis.
- Possess strong project management skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Demonstrate experience or understanding of working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
- Have an emerging or established track record in publications and successful grant funding.
- Be of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent (desirable).
