**The Role**
The Team Assistant will provide exceptional assistance to the advisors in developing and implementing financial advice and investment proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the advisors in developing and implementing financial advice and investment proposals in an efficient and accurate manner
- Provide superior client service and maintain strong client relationships by responding quickly and appropriately to client requests
- Maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of current relevant legislation and industry standards
- Provide efficient and broad administration support to the Investment/Financial Advisory team
- Undertake general mailing duties including opening and distributing incoming mail within Investment/Financial Advisory and facilitating bulk mail-outs
- Reconcile Expense statements and receipts
- Other ad-hoc administrative responsibilities as required

**About You**
- Relevant experience in a support capacity preferably in stockbroking assistant roles
- Completion of Secondary Education and RG 146
- Tertiary qualification in the economic/finance field
- Proficiency in relevant IT software, including IRESS, Agility, MS Word & MS Excel, XPlan highly desirable
- Highly motivated and self-directed
- Willingness and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, accuracy and attention to detail
- Sound understanding of the share market and market conditions, Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) business rules, and corporate law
