Museum Victoria cares for the State scientific and cultural collections, providing visitor access, activities and events at five distinct venues: Melbourne Museum, Immigration Museum, Scienceworks, IMAX Cinema and world heritage listed Royal Exhibition Building.

**ABOUT THE POSITION**:
The Administration Officer role is responsible to ensure ticket sales, revenue collection and reporting requirements are delivered and optimised through the effective administration of Museums Victoria's Ticketing and Booking System (BOS) and its associated databases. The role ensures that tickets can be accurately and easily sold, redeemed and reported at the various sales points across the organisation.

**Notable skills and experiences**:

- Experience of sales-based operating system
- Effective analytical and communication skills
- A collaborative customer oriented focus

The successful applicant will be someone who has demonstrated experience, and a full understanding, of the requirements for operating a ticketing system in a large organisation and whose attention to detail will guarantee accurate and consistently high quality results. The person will have the ability to relate to the many ticket user groups in the organisation and offer a high standard of service to deliver on their needs.

**OTHER INFORMATION**

There are two positions.
- Full-time, ongoing position. The salary on offer is $64,442 + 10% superannuation.
- Part-time (0.6), ongoing position. The salary on offer is $64,442 (paid pro-rata) + 10% superannuation
