We are looking for an Audience Insights Marketing Specialist to help drive data-led strategies that attract, engage and retain audiences, using analytics to support targeted marketing that increases ticket sales, strengthens subscriber loyalty and expands audience reach.

The Australian Ballet is one of the world's leading ballet companies and a globally recognised Australian national performing arts organisation. Each year the company presents upwards of 220 performances through its main stage seasons in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth; along with public programs, special events, an extensive regional tour, a Children's Ballet and Education programs and regular overseas tours.

Role Highlights:

  • Turn Data into Impact – Use analytics, trends, and audience insights to boost Subscriber loyalty and transform how people engage with the ballet.
  • Drive Audience Growth – Support strategies that turn single ticket buyers into loyal, repeat attendees and Subscribers.
  • Collaborate and Innovate – Partner across teams to launch new audience growth initiatives, loyalty program, and digital innovations in an environment that values experimentation and bold ideas.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting the delivery of data-driven audience growth strategies that attract, engage, and retain audiences across Australia.
  • Analysing audience and campaign data to uncover trends, refine targeting, and inform marketing decisions.
  • Helping to develop dashboards and reports that track key performance metrics across ticketing, campaigns, and audience behaviour.
  • Managing the customer feedback loop, translating insights into actionable recommendations to improve the audience experience.
  • Contributing to Subscriber engagement and loyalty initiatives, including the rollout of a new loyalty offering.
  • Collaborating with marketing, digital, and ticketing teams to deliver targeted campaigns and innovative growth initiatives.

What experience you'll need:

  • Around 4 years' experience in a marketing, data, or customer focused role.
  • Proven ability to interpret and apply audience/customer data to inform marketing or engagement strategies.
  • Familiarity with growth marketing channels, including paid media, CRM, and lifecycle or loyalty marketing.
  • Experience in customer acquisition, retention, or audience development.
  • Strong analytical and administrative skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A collaborative, proactive approach, comfortable working across teams in a fast-paced, creative environment.
