**The Role**:
The full-time, fixed-term contract position of Accounts Receivable Officer is primarily responsible for supporting the Finance team by providing support in the Accounts Receivable space in order to achieve the overal finance and organisational objectives.

**Key responsibilities of the role will include**:
Accounts receivable functions and debtor management
- New debtor onboarding & conducting credit checks
- Preparing and generating invoices and account statements
- Performing debtor account reconciliations
- Producing AR and cashflow reports, assisting in general financial management and analysis
- Monitoring debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtors DSO (Days Sales Outstanding)
- Liaising with customers, as well as internal personnel with key stakeholders from the Commercial team
- Report to management on outstanding issues, whilst highlighting potential debtor problems

Bank accounts & credit card reconciliation

Other ad hoc duties from time to time, including assisting Finance team members and supporting the smooth functioning of the Finance function

**About you**:
This position would be suitable for someone with demonstrated experience in accounts receivable in a commercial business. To be successful in this role, you will have strong attention to detail, advanced excel skills and excellent stakeholder management skills.

**You will need**:
Demonstrated experince in an Accounts Receivable position

Victorian drivers license

Right to work in Australia

Police check (to be completed during recruitment process)
