We’re looking for a warm, reliable and team-focused receptionist to join us at Optimal Health Medical Centre Gregory Hills. This is a great opportunity to become a valued member of our team.

**About the Role**

As one of the first people our patients see, you’ll play a key part in shaping their experience, making them feel welcome and supported, while keeping everything behind the scenes running smoothly.

You’ll be:

- Welcoming patients with warmth and professionalism
- Managing phone calls, bookings, payments and Medicare claims
- Supporting our GPs, nurses and admin team in day-to-day practice operations
- Helping with occasional coverage for team leave, including evenings and weekends (on a rostered basis)

**Training & Ongoing Roster**

We’re big on setting new team members up for success — you’ll have structured training and support to ease into the role.

**Training period**:

- Thursdays & Fridays | 9:00am-2:00pm | through to Sept 23

**Permanent roster from Sept 23**:

- **Week 1**: Wednesday 10:30am-6:30pm, Thursday 9:00am-5:00pm
- **Week 2**: Monday 9:00am-5:00pm, Wednesday 9:00am-5:00pm
- Flexibility to help with leave cover (especially evening/weekend shifts) is a huge bonus — we all pitch in when needed.

Experience in medical reception and Best Practice software is great, but we’re happy to train the right person from scratch. Attitude matters most.
