**About us**

Qld Medical Doctors is modern, family Medical Centre based on the Northside Brisbane. We are a clinic that has transitioned to mixed-billing and seek an experienced Medical Receptionist ideally with experience in Best Practice, or an Enrolled Nurse whom is happy to work predominantly in reception and help with some aspects of a clinical role.

This position will initially be a Casual Position 16-20 hours per week, with the possibility to being Permanent Part-time depending on patient demand, hours of operation and future growth of the clinic. Must be a reliable employee that is flexible to pick-up extra shifts for staff who take annual or sick leave.

**Qualifications & experience**
- Best Practice software or of similar experience
- At least 1 year in a Customer Service role, Medical Receptionist experience a high advantage
- A positive and 'can-do' attitude in which you are always willing to be a team player and put in effort consistently
- Providing high quality customer service patient experience and assistance to Doctors
- Professional and friendly phone manner

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Welcome patients with a friendly manner and assist patients with any queries and appointments in a courteous, caring and professional manner
- Knowledge of Best Practice software is an advantage
- Must be reliable available to work between the hours of 7:30am - 6pm
- Available to work weekends
- Attention to detail to accurately process payments via cash, EFTPOS and Tyro
- Strong commitment to protecting patient rights by maintaining patient confidentiality at all times
- Customer Service experience is a must, with previous Medical Reception experience as highly desirable
- Strong communication and IT skills
- Be able to multi-task in a busy environment and prioritise patient care
- Ability to work independently, as well as to work within a close knit team
- To be confident in liaising with patients and doctors, and have the ability to think quick on their feet in challenging situations

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $20.33 - $32.50 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

COVID-19 considerations:
Staff and clients are required to wear masks, comment surfaces are sanitised regularly

- Arana Hills, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
