Hays in Geelong are currently partnered with a large federal government organisation located in Geelong CBD, Victoria.

We are seeking to appoint an EL2 Digital Product Owner to join organisation’s Digital team for an initial 12-month contract role with a potential extension.

**Your new role**

In this role, you will be reporting to EL2 - Digital Director and will be responsible for develops and improves digital solutions to enhance the experience and objectives of Participants. You will also be responsible for effective management of plans through digital platforms that interact with the Agency and relevant providers.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Overseeing the governance of Digital programs, working in close collaboration with the Director, Digital across all phases of Design, Build and Operation.
- Leading engagement with multiple internal and external stakeholder groups, including senior executives, peak bodies, participants, and providers.
- Facilitating workshops to capture key insights around user and customer experience gaps and current processes.
- Conducting return on investment analysis on potential functionality and utilising insights to define a digital product roadmap with prioritised features.
- Working within an Agile framework while working through Design, Build and Operation phases of delivery.
- Collecting and representing the requirements of the business and ensuring prioritisation with the technology delivery capacity.
- Facilitating ongoing consultation through product development stages and post release, ensuring user needs and accessibility requirements are met.

- Other duties as and when required.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be considered for this role, you will have:

- Proven previous experience in a Digital transformation program in leadership capacity.
- Relevant qualification/ certification in IT / Business Analysis / Agile / Scrum etc
- Experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams across varied skillsets on large projects
- Strong exposure working in Salesforce / SAP / Jira and Confluence.
- Stakeholder management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A pro-active personality, with a can-do attitude
- Preferable prior knowledge and experience in disability and/or public sector.
- Due to the nature of our client, for this role you **MUST** be an Australian Citizen
