Store Projects and Maintenance Coordinator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a **Store Projects and Maintenance Coordination** to join us. Reporting to the General manager, you will play a crucial role to overseeing all aspects of both functions across Giorgio Armani Australia’s retail portfolio.
With prior working experience as Store Project within the premium fashion or luxury brand industry, you will work closely with the General Manager, and cross functionally with the Retail team and Milan HQ to plan and execute store projects and maintenance programs across the retail network.
**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING.....**
- Store Projects_
- Manage all aspects of the store project function including new store builds, store refurbishments, and store closures across the Giorgio Armani retail network, ensuring both budget and project program targets are achieved.
- Prepare and maintain investment and expense forecasts for all projects. Work closely with the local Project Manager/Superintendent to ensure that the project program is executed in a timely and cost-effective manner adhering to contractual commitments.
- Liaise and coordinate all design documentation required by the Milan design and architect team. Working closely with Milan, the local architect, contractors, and landlords, to find solutions to solve all project and maintenance issues relating to new and existing stores.
- Work together with the local Retail, VM and IT team to review all project designs to ensure that all local requirements have been accurately and correctly incorporated into each project.
- Manage the selection and appointment of the project manager, local contractors, architects, consultants, and suppliers following the internal Giorgio Armani tender process.
- Coordinate and oversee the procurement of all required materials, fixtures, and fittings for the store projects, inclusive of overseas & local items across client supply and contractor supply.
- Forecast, review, and track all quotations, fee proposals and invoices related to the projects resulting in the timely payment of all invoices.
- Maintain and update a weekly project tracker and project database file to record all aspects of each project for future reference and benchmarking.
- Store & Office Maintenance:_
- Be the primary contact and responsible for appointing and coordinating for all maintenance and repairs across the retail & office network.
- Oversee the quarterly Store Condition Checklist maintenance tracker for the retail network, identifying and resolving all maintenance issues within process guidelines.
- Manage the store security function and services management including air conditioning, lifts, and fire safety
- Manage all store and office maintenance contracts for both short
- and long-term periods including but not limited to all air-conditioning, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic aspects.

- University graduate or above in Art, Graphic Design, Interior Design or related discipline Professional Experience
- Comprehensive understanding of Store Projects (3-5 years’ experience preferably within the premium fashion or luxury brand industry)
- First-hand experience and a deep understanding of store maintenance program
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Advanced Knowledge
- Ability to deal with difficult situations Advanced Knowledge
- Communication skills (written and verbal) Advanced Knowledge
- Ability to meet deadlines and budgets Working Knowledge
- Solid organizational skills, including multitasking Working Knowledge and time-management
