**Role Description**

Through the Purpose, Vision and Values of DVConnect, the Service Delivery Manager (SDM) will play a pivotal role in upholding our organisation's Purpose, Vision, and Values. Your responsibilities include overseeing the direction and management of Bella’s Sanctuary, supporting and developing key stakeholder relationships and referral pathways and provide direct line-management support to the Bella’s Sanctuary worker. You will be responsible for overseeing the quality service provision of the 1800RESPECT program, managing, developing, and supporting a team of skilled leaders and practitioners. Together, your team will deliver trauma-informed Specialist Counselling tailored to individuals with complex needs that go beyond the limitations of a single-session counselling model.

**What you need to succeed**
- Proven leadership experience (minimum 3 years) in at least one (1) of the following areas: Domestic, family and intimate Partner Violence, sexual violence and abuse, child protection and/or residential support, specialist trauma counselling or mental health sector.
- Completed tertiary qualification(s) in Social and Behavioural Sciences or other appropriate field(s).
- Professional membership of one of the following governing bodies: AASW or AHPRA (registered Psychologist).
- Minimum 4+ years' experience in specialist counselling experience supporting clients impacted by Domestic, Family or Sexual violence.
- Ability to quickly acquire a thorough knowledge of 1800RESPECT’s framework, policies and procedures including relevant Federal and State based legislation.
- Knowledge of Queensland Domestic Violence Legislations, particularly the Domestic and Family Violence Protection Act 2012.
- Exceptional and effective interpersonal, communication, and engagement/consultation skills.
- Commitment to social justice, DVConnect values and its’ role in delivering services to people impacted by violence and abuse.
- Positive Notice Blue Card and National Police Check or ability and willingness to obtain.
- Right to work in Australia with no restrictions.
