**The company**:
Our client is a global organisation operating in the supply chain and distribution sector. They are a listed business who is undergoing a significant period of growth organically but also through strategic acquisition. Due to recent changes they are currently looking to appoint a talented Product Specialist to be based in their Head Office in Melbourne’s south. This role has flexible working arrangements to work from home at times also.
**The role**:
This is a key role and responsibilities will include:
- Brand management of assigned categories including the brand strategy and growth of the brand
- Assist in the development of marketing and campaign management
- Develop and promote product ranges into key customers
- Develop pricing structures and maintain product ranges and suppliers to maximise margin growth
- Commercial tender management including negotiations
- Management of supplier relationships including management of supplier performance and delivery
- Strategic sourcing and category product management
- Maintain inventory levels and stock level are maintained to meet customer demand
**About You**:
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
- Degree qualification and a background in a similar position
- Experience in product management or a background in account management or similar with the ability to deliver product launches to customers and manage supplier relationships
- Creativity, a curious mindset and the ability work in a fast paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and influence across a variety of stakeholders at the senior level
