We currently have an opportunity for a Maintenance Worker to form an integral part of the team at Bethanie Geneff aged care home and village in Innaloo.

**About the role**:
As a Maintenance Worker, you will support our Facility Manager and residents with maintenance services across our aged care home and village. This rewarding position will fulfil your interest in providing a supportive and compassionate service and giving something back to the community. Duties will include:

- Ensure the buildings, plant and equipment and other assets are maintained in a serviceable and safe condition
- Testing and tagging out equipment; minor painting and plaster repairs; basic plumbing repairs and general labouring duties
- Utilise an iPad for logging and completing works in our maintenance system in an efficient manner
- Maintain adequate records of all maintenance performed
- Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition

This is a permanent full-time role (37.5 hours per week) working Monday to Friday, between 7:30am and 3:30pm. The hourly rate is $30 plus super.

**About you**:
You're comfortable working on your own but also enjoy working in a team dynamic too.
- Current A or C class drivers’ licence
- Previous experience in aged care - desirable
- Ability to communicate with employees and care recipients
- Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health requirements
- Literacy and numeracy skills appropriate to perform the role and basic computer skills
- Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group
- Current Covid and Flu Vaccinations are required - 3 x Covid vaccinations and annual Flu vaccination
