**SMS Mining Services is a privately owned, West Australian-based Mining Contractor. Founded in 2000, SMS has progressed from being solely Equipment Rental to now having extensive involvement in the Maintenance, Contract Mining, and Drill and Blast Divisions.**

**About the Role**:We are currently looking for a Maintenance Superintendent to join our expanding company in The Goldfields Region. This role would suit someone with strong leadership skills and a proven history of successfully managing mobile maintenance earthmoving equipment.

**Skills and Experience**:

- A strong safety focus and the ability to lead by example to achieve all safe work practices.
- Proven history of delivering excellent maintenance results to earthmoving equipment in a busy mining environment
- The ability to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance occurs in line with the scope of works
- Proven leadership skills to provide guidance, support, and direction to your team
- Able to identify and implement opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness within functional areas
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive client relations
- The ongoing ability to develop strategies for the team to ensure a strong team and customer-focused culture
- Technical expertise and/or trade qualifications in Heavy Duty Maintenance
- Proven ability to establish and maintain an effective customer relationship
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Minimum 5 years in a similar role is essential
- Understanding of best practice Maintenance Management practices and workflows
- Proven ability to influence and mentor
- IT/Computer Proficiency essential
- The ability to manage the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of the site continuous improvement program
