Are you a detail oriented finance professional looking to take the next step in your career?

We are seeking an experienced Finance Officer to coordinate accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other general accounting functions. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth daily operations within our finance team.

**How You’ll Make an Impact**
- Manage the end-to-end processing of invoices and payment request forms, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Validate invoices to ensure accurate coding, proper approval, and matching with purchase orders; promptly resolve any discrepancies
- Maintain strong supplier relationships by addressing and resolving invoice or payment-related queries in a timely and professional manner
- Process weekly supplier payments via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or BPAY, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Perform thorough reconciliations of creditor statements against invoices, investigating and correcting any inconsistencies
- Prepare and maintain Purchase Order (PO) summary reports and cost analysis reports to support financial oversight
- Generate and distribute accurate invoices in a timely manner
- Follow up on aged debtors and implement resolutions to manage and reduce outstanding balances
- Compile and present monthly Debtor and Creditor Aging Reports
- Coordinate travel arrangements for designated departments, including flights, accommodation, transport, and related logistics

**A great fit for this role looks like**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 3-5 years’ experience working in accounting
- Strong attention to detail and work ethic
- Ability to work under pressure, meet strict financial deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Microsoft D365 and Basware software (desirable)
