The Project Officer will support the Evaluation Office Director and the work of the Evaluation Office and assist with other key projects within the Strategic Engagement Branch.

About the team
The Policy Unit is part of the QCAA's Strategic Engagement Branch in the Strategy, Planning and Corporate Support Division. The Strategic Engagement Branch is responsible for managing QCAA's interface with the community, education stakeholders and other key groups. This includes corporate communications and marketing, editing and graphic design, intellectual property management, processing right to information requests, coordination of policy advice on current and emerging educational issues, legal services, secretariat support to the Authority and its committee structures, government relationship and information management, and managing the implementation of key strategic projects and change initiatives. The branch also supports the new Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) system evaluation process.
Your key responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for the implementation and completion of the evaluation process of the QCE system reforms in Queensland.
- Assist the Evaluation Office Director, Strategic Engagement Branch Director and Policy Unit Manager in coordinating consultation engagements, correspondence, reporting and analysis of information for the program evaluation.
- Organising and supporting the delivery of the program evaluation activities by taking minutes, scheduling meetings, preparing meeting notes and assisting in the creation of reports.
- Undertake research and collate detailed information in relation to the program evaluation.
- Assist with records management, finance related tasks and any other general administrative tasks as required.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with other units and branches within the QCAA and with stakeholders.
- Provide and undertake the above to support for any other key projects as required.
