How you will make an impact

The Team Manager, Oncology Research provides leadership to the Medical Oncology coordinating team and oversees daily operations of the trial unit. The Team Manager, Oncology Research will work within the framework of the Mission and Values of Cabrini Health.

Depending on the successful applicant's preference, this role can be full-time or part-time. The position starts with a year contract and with ongoing opportunity.

Key responsibilities include:
- Team management and Drive team excellent- Facilitates communication in regard to the activities of the department.- Involvement in clinical research at Cabrini.

About you

The successful will bring their exercise cancer research experience and have an undergraduate or master’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, Health Science).

You will have:
- Relevant graduate qualifications and/or research experience- At least 5 years experience in an oncology/hematology clinical trial research unit with at least 2 years in a team-leading capacity- Australian regulatory requirements e.g., TGA ICH GCP, NHMRC Guidelines, HREC/Research Governance- Understanding of clinical trial budgets and contract- Computer skills including proficiency with the Microsoft range of software and experience with web-based information capture systems.- Proven skills in managing/ mentoring a small to medium clinical trials team and delivering excellent performance outcomes.- Demonstrated ability to work with others within and outside of the Medical Oncology Department in a collaborative and consultative way to build long-term relationships with the shared responsibility of success.- Demonstrated ability to manage conflicts and work with others to overcome differences to maintain positive and productive work environments.- Demonstrated ability to problem solve and work in a complex environment.- Capable of working independently and demonstrating initiative to improve business operations.- Evidence of excellent organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workloads within a regulated environment.
