Procurement Manager Brisbane, West End

**The Opportunity**:
The Procurement Manager role exists to provide procurement advice and support to Fitness & Lifestyle Group's business stakeholders in the planning and execution of key procurement initiatives, across some of Asia Pacific's leading household name fitness companies including Goodlife Health Clubs, Fitnes First and Zap Fitness 24-7. This newly created role is focused on achieving high quality, fit for purpose sourcing and procurement outcomes that deliver value for money to the Fitness and Lifestyle Group (FLG) as well as building procurement maturity across FLG.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with current experience as a Procurement Manager, or who has strong Procurement Specialist experience and is ready to step into a senior role.
Fitness and Lifestyle Group promotes healthy work-life balance. This is a hybrid role, mixing office (three days) and work-from-home responsibilities.

**Key duties and responsibilities will include**:

- Procure goods and services according to FLG requirements and ensure compliance to the FLG Procurement Policy
- Manage and execute Request for Proposals/Quotes (RFP/RFQs), Tenders, proposals, and negotiation of contracts.
- Align category plans to the overall business performance goals and objectives.
- Establish and maintain appropriate contractual arrangements with suppliers and manage supplier delivery performance.
- Build internal and external partnerships and a customer orientated procurement approach
- Manage the centralised contract register plus report on procurement category/spend data.

**To be successful in this role you will need**:
Essential
- Previous experience in a procurement role
- A broad understanding of indirect categories including Property/Facilities, Marketing, Technology, Corporate Services
- Demonstrated experience in managing a procurement spend category or strategic sourcing
- Experience with Strategic Sourcing or Category Management principles
- Highly developed communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong commercial acumen with negotiation and influencing skills
- Highly analytical

Desirable
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement/Supply or Business
- CIPSA membership
