**About the role**:
Our key government client is looking for a Procurement Project Officer some Key responsibilities include
- Provide expert, professional advice to internal and external clients across all procurement Buying Categories, including contract development and management, procurement strategies and offer evaluation
- Undertake the delivery of end-to-end tactical procurement services, including the preparation of planning, sourcing, evaluation and contract management documents in line with the department’s Procurement Policy, strategies and associated Buying Category Frameworks
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of projects undertaken
- Coordinate forward procurement planning and reporting activities

Develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships within the organisation

**Highly desirable Skills and experience**:

- Ability to undertake procurement activities to achieve client focussed and cost-efficient outcomes including:

- provision of expert advice that reflects a contemporary knowledge of Government’s Procurement Policy, contract development and procurement practices
- possession of Level 3 Procurement Accreditation is highly regarded
- proficient with use of MS office programs
- Desired experience in procuring ICT programs
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks efficiently in line with team commitments
- Ability to embrace change by actively seeking new solutions and responding flexibly to changing requirements
- Ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders to support customer-focussed service delivery
- Personal accountability for development and continuous self-management through sharing ideas and seeking out learning opportunities in everyday work
