We are looking for a highly experience Procurement Manager heading into an amazing period of growth and change, culminating in the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. About the role…
• Lead, develop and implement Centre procurement policies, procedures and systems to align with Queensland Government Procurement requirements.
• Ensure the business meets compliance obligations, focussing on delivering value for money and embedding ethical, sustainable and transparent procurement practices across all operations.
• Manage, supervise and provide strategic direction for the Procurement, Purchasing and Receiving Teams to ensure efficient, compliant and coordinated operations.
• Work closely with external stakeholders Legends Global (Venue Manager) and South Bank Corporation (Owner) aligning practices as relevant ensuring conformity with Queensland Government Procurement Policy (QPP).
• Support department managers to monitor procurement and ensure ongoing observance of internal and government policies.
• Build relationships with suppliers and government agencies to ensure ethical and sustainable sourcing.
The successful applicant will be required to provide the Centre with a National Police Certificate Name Only (Police Check).
