Student Advisor

What’s your purpose:
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Student Advisor who wants to help us shape the future of the industry. You will convert leads into sales by guiding future students to select the most suitable course.

What you’ll do:
The Student Advisor is pivotal to Academy Xi’s next phase of growth and will primarily focus on responding to all incoming customer enquiries. You will be focused on identifying new sales opportunities through lead generation campaigns and networking opportunities.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to;
- Manage a pipeline of incoming sales leads
- Learn and advise on our product offerings
- Liaise with the marketing team to coordinate and execute lead generation initiatives
- Help curate and execute marketing distribution strategies
- Maintain and grow conversion rates
- Drive leads and student acquisition to meet enrolment targets
- Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate and optimise our growth strategy
- Participate on lead information sessions or events to increase sales

Who you are:
You have an engaging personality, with strong interpersonal skills to understand the needs of customers.
- Confident and passionate about empowering others through education with the ability to negotiate
- Used to working to tight KPI's and deadlines
- Demonstrated performance in consultative selling, warm leads and sales experience with professional phone presence and presentation skills
- Sales or business development background preferably in education
- Knowledge in areas of design and technology along with ability to rapidly gain product knowledge will be a distinct advantage
- Effective communicator that can translate technical concepts to non-technical and technical professionals alike
- A quick learner, self-motivated and ambitious to succeed
- Organised, proactive and detail oriented to self-manage remotely
- Ability to work with, and provide service to, a diverse range of people.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing consistent, quality customer advice, primarily over the phone and online.
- Confident utilising a wide range of technology and communication techniques
- Proven ability to be effective in both time management and pipeline management
