**About the Area**
The School of Humanities and Social Inquiry consists of a collection of Discipline areas, including History, Philosophy, Sociology, Politics and International Studies, Indigenous Studies, and Languages. We are a leading team of scholars who train students to think historically, philosophically and politically about the world, societies and cultures. We aim to equip students with the critical, analytical and interpretation skills necessary to question existing beliefs, social systems and institutions, and make a real impact on the world. The School is home to the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of International Studies, and the Bachelor of Politics, Philosophy and Economics degrees.
**About the Positions**
We are seeking educators with expertise in one or more of the following areas:
History
Philosophy
Politics and International Studies
Sociology
Spanish
**About You**
To be eligible to undertake one of these positions you must be a UOW student currently enrolled in Higher Degree Research or a Postgraduate Course.
You will have relevant qualifications and experience in an area aligned with one or more of the Disciplines of History, Philosophy, Politics and International Studies, Sociology, and Spanish. Previous tertiary teaching experience is desirable. You will demonstrate a capacity to contribute to the School of Humanities and Social Inquiry in multiple ways, including contributing to marketing and engagement activities, and/or completing other governance activities relevant to the School and role.
