**About the Role**:

As the **Learning and Development Consultant**, you’ll design and deliver learning experiences that build core capabilities, empower leaders, and support strategic People & Culture initiatives. This is your chance to make a real impact in a collaborative, innovative, and values-led environment.

As the **Learning and Development Consultant,** you’ll take the lead in identifying and coordinating employee learning initiatives across the University. You'll offer expert advice on development options, co-design tailored learning solutions, and drive projects that support professional growth.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Design and deliver impactful learning programs—online, in-person, and hybrid—focused on capability growth, leadership, and strategic People & Culture priorities.
- Develop training proposals with clear objectives, outcomes, and delivery plans.
- Partner with internal experts and external providers to facilitate and coordinate high-quality training.
- Guide staff on development pathways for themselves and their teams.
- Consult with stakeholders to identify training needs and implement effective learning solutions.
- Leverage technology and AI tools to streamline course delivery, marketing, registration, and reporting.
- Continuously evaluate and improve training programs and processes.
- Support the execution of strategic initiatives aligned to organisational development goals.

**Who we are looking for**:
You are a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to learning and development. You bring a blend of creativity, empathy, and strong organisational skills—and thrive when collaborating with diverse teams.
- A degree in a relevant discipline, with significant experience in employee learning and development, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven success in designing and delivering learning solutions that drive meaningful outcomes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A commitment to creating an inclusive, growth-oriented workplace culture.

**Role Requirements**:

- As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered
