**The Role**

We’re always looking to increase our impact and help more Friends on the street - striving to continually improve is in our DNA at Orange Sky. This role is a key member of our dynamic Operations Team, and vital to the smooth operation and improvement of services across Australia.

No day is ever the same, so the ideal applicant will thrive in a dynamic environment - w e need someone who knows how to have lots of balls in the air that can’t be dropped, can think on the fly, and get creative to make things happen.

In a nutshell, this role is responsible for:

- Supporting existing volunteer teams and ensuring new volunteers are fast tracked onto their new shift.
- Engaging with our volunteer leaders from across the country and assisting with moving volunteers from the waitlist to active volunteering.
- Troubleshooting and problem solving will be your passion and you will enjoy taking the time to work out the best process in volunteers progressing on their journey at Orange Sky
- Responding to volunteer enquiries and questions through the service support line and online chat

- Outstanding interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate with a highly diverse range of people and manage a large and diverse workforce
- Well-developed written skills and problem solving ability
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage complex and competing demands and meet deadlines
- Ability to work both independently, and within a team
- Proactive attitude, and a genuine passion for our cause.
