Fortitude Valley, Australia At Sixes and Sevens Full time

Sixes & Sevens on James Street is looking for duty managers to join our team. We are a very busy cocktail bar Friday to Sunday and a relaxed local, Wednesday to Thursday.

We have two positions available,

**Position 1**: 15-20 hours per week working every Wednesday and Thursday evening from approximately 4pm to 12am - Casual or Salary available

**Position 2**: A minimum of 20 hours per week, but up to 40 hours per week available. Friday to Sunday evenings are required. An RMLV & approved managers license is preferred - Casual or Salary available

The hands on roles will include supervising key shifts in the venue, supervising staff and ensuring excellent customer service standards are met and maintained.

The successful applicants must have:

- A minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory role within a busy bar or restaurant environment
- Excellent customer service and time management skills
- A strong team player, creative and self-motivated and willing to undertake a hands-on role so you may lead from the front
- Ability to share your knowledge, manage and motivate staff
- Honest and open communication with staff and management
- A stable employment history
- Good wine, food and spirit knowledge and the desire to learn more
- A complete understanding of liquor licensing requirements and the responsible service of alcohol
- High standard of personal hygiene and professional presentation
- Have a passion for the industry, customer service and guest experience
- Ability to work flexible hours, late nights and weekends (required for position 2)

In these positions you would report to the Operations Manager and be responsible for
- The supervision and coordination of the daily operations in the venue
- Staff supervision
- Booking & function management
- Staff breaks
- Staff training
- Cash handling, end of trade

**Experience**:
