**About the role**:
Merri-bek City Council is planning for an exciting urban renewal project that will shape the future of our city, and we’re looking for a driven **Project and Engagement Officer** to help bring it to life.

In this role you will:

- Lead the development and delivery of a substantial community and stakeholder engagement strategy
- Support targeted stakeholder engagement
- Support project management, policy and urban planning for a fast-paced and dynamic project
- Provide some project and administrative support

**Skills and experience require to perform the role**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification with experience in community engagement and project management, or lesser formal qualification and substantial relevant experience in community engagement and project management. Some experience in property development or urban renewal would be advantageous.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience designing and delivering community engagement
- High-level project management, policy or planning and organisational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Desire for learning and working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to contribute to a strong, collaborative and positive team culture
