**About your new role**
Reporting to the General Manager of Investigations, this role will see you play a fundamental role in leading the uplift of The Star’s Investigations function. You will be responsible for the implementation of several pivotal projects including developing an Investigations Team service proposition and an operational manual. You will play a major role in the designing and developing of reporting capabilities for the function. Furthermore, you will undertake an operational review across the three sites to embed a consistent approach for The Star’s investigations practices. Post uplift, the Investigations Operations Manager will support all aspects of the function on an on-going basis.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop Investigations Service Proposition clearly detailing all matter/case types to be investigated by the Investigations Team.
- Examine existing processes utilised across Sydney and QLD Investigation teams to identify opportunities to ensure consistency in approach across all properties.
- Develop the functions proactive investigations capabilities by identifying tools and reports available within the business with the potential to identify misconduct red flags and action accordingly.
- Establish and create a recording capability for Investigations, to meet reporting requirements.
- Update Guidelines, particularly in relation to Investigations relevant ICM uplifts and consolidate Guidelines as one Investigations.
- Develop SLAs for investigations to ensure focus on timeliness and consistency in relation to case progression.
- Liaise with Star business units to prepare responses to LEA and Regulator queries.

**To be successful in this role you will have**
- Proven extensive knowledge and experience around workplace investigations.
- Ability to play a key role in driving the uplift of a multi-team investigations program.
- Knowledge and experience in financial services or a gaming environment is desirable.
- Understanding of relevant statutory and reporting requirements.
- High-level written communication skills for the purpose of drafting policy documents, SOPs, and communications to internal and external stakeholders.
- Track record in project management and delivery.
