Essential Qualifications- A current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to maintain one.- First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.

Essential Skills and Attributes- Comprehensive knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS) to ensure quality practices and outcomes for children.- Proven ability to lead, inspire and manage a team of educators, ensuring optimal performance and staff retention.- Capability to handle day-to-day operations, including staffing, budgeting and resource allocation.- Familiarity with the Education and Care Services National Law and National Regulations, ensuring the Service remains compliant.- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to liaise with families, staff, regulatory bodies and the broader community.- Ability to establish and nurture positive relationships with all stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.

Desirable Skills and Knowledge- Experience in a previous Service Manager, Centre Director, Centre Manager role or similar.- Skills to address and resolve conflicts or challenges that may arise among staff or with families.- Experience in budgeting, financial planning and resource management.- Ability to utilize relevant software for management, communication, and reporting purposes.- A commitment to ongoing training and development to stay updated with sector changes and best practices.
