**Description**:
**The Role**:
An exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced School Canteen Manager to join one of the fastest-growing catering companies in Australia. This role offers a great work-life balance with family-friendly hours, comprehensive training, and ongoing support. Based at our school in Langwarrin South, this position provides the perfect chance to bring your expertise to a team that values your skills and encourages professional growth. **Roster**:
Monday - Friday 7:30am - 14:30pm
**What This Role Involves**:

- Cooking lunch orders for our junior school students
- Ordering & stock control
- Food preparation (e.g. peeling/chopping vegetables, making sandwiches & salads)
- Friendly customer service
- Washing dishes, cleaning and maintaining kitchen areas
- Maintaining food hygiene, security and safety practices

**Skills and Experiences**:

- Previous experience in a canteen or cafe environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to organise work with other team members and take direction
- Reliability and availability for various days and hours
- Motivated and enthusiastic
- First class food safety practices
- Ability to comply with OH&S and food safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment during peak service periods

**Please note**: successful applicants will be required to undergo a working with children clearance before starting employment.
