**Overview**
- The financial reporting manager will be responsible for providing accounting services to support to Link Fund Solutions boutique fund managers, with a key focus on financial reporting deliverables.**Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities**
- Overall in charge of the financial reporting process for all retail and wholesale management investment funds and companies across 80+ entities from planning, execution, finalisation and debrief.
- Review of financial statements and related statutory accounts workpapers in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
- Main point of contact for financial reporting matters both internal (within Link) and external (auditors, fund/investment managers, Responsible Entity/Trustee, among others).
- Oversight and responsibility of team’s daily functions/weekly/ monthly deliverables.
- Detailed review of unit prices for managed investment funds, private equity funds and listed investment companies.
- Review of distributable income calculations for managed investment funds, and liaising with external tax parties as needed.
- Staff performance management - manage, resource, motivate, develop and support the continuing personal & professional development of all team members.
- Prepare and present training on specific fund accounting/financial reporting topics.
- Building productive & professional relationships - internal and external parties
- Conduct external & internal meetings / write up agenda meeting notes to circulate
- Transition Management / client onboarding - play an active role in the on-boarding of new clients and ensuring the effective and timely implementation of client change requests
- Review and suggest improvements to procedures with efficiency/risk reduction in mind, using your previous experience.
- Project work such as system implementations / upgrades i.e. Investment types both domestic and international will include the following: Equities, Futures, Options, FX, Currency forwards, Swaps, Fixed Income, and Managed Funds.

**Experience & Personal Attributes**
- Strong and extensive experience in the financial reporting process
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in staff management including performance management, recruitment, induction, setting KPIs, assigning tasks
- All around grasp of accounting standards and taxation affecting the managed funds industry
- Strong leadership and client services skills
- Problem solving and implementing practical solutions
- Strong project management skills and ability to coordinate conflicting deadlines
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to research and analyse legislative requirements and changes, update policy documents, checklists, templates, and procedures
- Ability to implement and complete project work both within teams and autonomously
- CA/CPA qualified
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Competent in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software quickly
- Prior experience with Onesource or any accounts preparation software would be a plus
