Job Summary

Sandvik currently has an opportunity for an Electrical Underground Drills Specialist to join our Underground Drills product line team. As the Electrical Underground Drills Specialist, you will be reporting to the Technical Manager and assist in providing quality technical support and developing technical competencies to Sandvik customers and internal personnel.

Areas of responsibly will include:

- Deliver on-site technical assistance to resolve issues on 1000v and 24v systems including Can Bus and Sandvik Control Systems.
- Provide technical training and support to service network on proper operations, maintenance and troubleshooting practices to customers while developing strong relationships to ensure a positive experience
- Aid in compiling accurate data to process warranty claims and engineering machine improvements, investigating warranty claims proactively & reactively to enhance customer satisfaction
- Offer relevant feedback to TSM/BSM and BLM to relevant factory engineering teams & warranty analyst to improve equipment and operations.
- Work with TSM on training material and ensure all new products meet Australian standards.

Your Profile:

- You hold an Electrical Trades qualification and will have 5 + years post trade experience
- WA Electrical Licence & Cert IV in Training & Assessment Highly Desirable
- Your professional background will include HV and low voltage, Sandvik control system, as well as working on automation and Underground Drill Rigs
- You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build & maintain relationships with internal & external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical & Problem solving skills
- Customer focused -always looking to get a favourable outcome for Sandvik and the client
- Ability to perform in fast paced environment and respond to stakeholder enquiries in a timely fashion
- Flexible to travel locally and the APAC region.
