GPS Electrical is growing. We're on the lookout for a high-performing Talent Acquisition Partner to join the team and help us source the best talent across Electrical, Automation, and Engineering sectors.
GPS Electrical is a national leader in Electrical Installation, Maintenance, Engineering, and System Integration. Our work spans Manufacturing, Renewables, and Utilities — delivering intelligent project solutions on time, on spec, and within budget.
Whether we're managing major installations or fine-tuning industrial automation systems, we pride ourselves on exceptional service and technical excellence. Now, we're expanding our People & Culture team to help us continue that mission.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment Delivery
- Manage full-cycle recruitment across internal and external placements
- Develop role briefs and success profiles with hiring managers
- Design and execute sourcing strategies (head-hunting, talent mapping, direct outreach)
- Conduct behavioural and competency-based interviews
- Present shortlists with strategic candidate insights
- Oversee offer management and contract negotiation
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build trusted relationships across GPS departments and leadership
- Provide market insights, salary benchmarking, and hiring trends
- Run regular update meetings and recruitment reporting
- Support SLAs or terms of business as needed
Candidate Experience
- Deliver a seamless, inclusive, and professional experience for all candidates
- Act as a GPS brand ambassador in all communications and interactions
Employer Branding & Talent Pipelining
- Support GPS branding initiatives and represent us at industry/career events
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical roles
- Minimum 3+ years end-to-end recruitment experience
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Proven track record in proactive sourcing and talent attraction
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter or similar sourcing tools
- Experience recruiting for technical roles (electrical, engineering, or trades preferred but not essential)
- Experience managing high-volume recruitment (5+ roles simultaneously)
