The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic support officer who will utilise their understanding of ICT to receive and provide first level technical support for health information system users and to undertake administrative support services to the Clinical Systems Support Team.
You will respond to common requests for health information system support, undertake problem assessments, maintain records and escalate any unresolved and/or complex calls through to the appropriate team hierarchy and channels. You will provide effective administrative support services and will also organise your individual workload to ensure you provide a high quality and responsive client service. In addition, you will promote effective and efficient communication within the unit to ensure deadlines and work commitments are met.
**To be successful for this role you will**:
- Have sound ICT knowledge (including hardware and software) of health information systems for example; Consumer Integrated Mental Health Application and Alcohol and Other Drug Services Information Systems
- Thrive in a team environment but will also enjoy the challenge of working independently
- Be adaptable and enjoy working in a fast paced and dynamic team
- Understand the functions and organisation of the Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Branch as they relate to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture; consumers and carers; mental health care and alcohol and other drugs treatment services (or will have the ability to rapidly acquire this knowledge)
