Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the implementation of restorative approaches in healthcare at a statewide level.
  • Working closely with the steering committee and its chair to consider and implement recommendations from key workshops.
  • Developing and implementing workshops to support progression of these initiatives.
  • Initiating, developing, and leading state-wide service improvement initiatives that foster multi-disciplinary professional competence in the use of restorative just and learning practices in mental health and alcohol and other drug (MHAOD) services.
  • Strategically assessing MHAOD service-line participation in the continuum of restorative practice and providing training, mentoring, and support to implement restorative practice interventions.
  • Providing expert authoritative counsel and consultancy services to clinicians, teams, and executives to support development of practices procedures and protocols in line with professional standards and evidence-based practice guidelines.

Role Overview:

This is a critical role that requires leadership skills, strategic thinking, and expertise in restorative approaches. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Restorative Approaches in Healthcare Community of Practice and proactively supporting the governance arrangements for the implementation of restorative practice in MHAOD services.
